About Our Physicians
A Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) is the only health professional whose total training focuses on the foot, ankle and related body systems. Our professionals, Dr. Helene T. Nguyen, Dr. Yong J. Zhu and Dr. Vilayvanh Sysounthone at Feet ‘N Beyond of New Jersey, P.A. maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in podiatry. They welcome the opportunity to discuss and treat common and complex podiatric issues. They specialize in the diagnosis, treatments, and preventions of foot and ankle problems with medical and surgical approaches.

Dr. Helene T. NguyenPodiatristFeet 'N Beyond of New JerseyDr. Nguyen grew up in Chicago, and graduated from Benedictine University, Illinois. She completed her podiatric medical studies along with surgical training in NYC and the inner city communities of Queens and Brooklyn metropolitan area. She is specializing in cosmetic foot surgery, Hyperbaric Medicine certified, wound care and laser treatments. Dr. Nguyen is member of American Podiatric Medical Association, National Professional Women Association. She is currently part of the medical staffs at Center for Wound Healing at St. Clare's Hospital. Other than English, she is fluent in Vietnamese. |

Dr. Yong J. ZhuPodiatristFeet 'N Beyond of New JerseyDr. Yong J. Zhu graduated from Rutgers University and New York College of Podiatric Medicine in NYC. He completed his surgical training at Staten Island University Hospital, NY. He also achieved the only accredited Dermatology fellowship program in conjunction with Podiatric residency program at St. Luke's Hospital in Pennsylvania. He is specializing in all dermatological disease in lower extremity and foot and ankle surgery, and wound care. Dr. Zhu has published several articles in Emergency Medicine Journal. He also speaks Cantonese and Mandarin. |

Dr. Vilayvanh SysounthonePodiatristFeet 'N Beyond of New Jersey Dr. Vilayvanh Sysounthone completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Hoboken, N.J(HUMC) and is extremely well trained in reconstructive forefoot and rear foot surgery, ankle surgery and trauma as well as management of diabetic limb salvage. She received her D.P. M. in June of 2003 from New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Dr. Sysounthone is a New Jersey State Licensed Podiatrist, board qualified in reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery, foot surgery and Shockwave Therapy (ESWT). She speaks Spanish, Thai and Laotian. Dr. Sysounthone is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Member of FAPA, Member of NJPMS, Member of AAWP. |

All of our podiatric physicians see patients of all ages and lower extremity conditions. The treatments range from medications to minor or more advanced surgical interventions. To manage your foot and ankle conditions, plan of treatment will be recommended and discussed with you in detail. They will work together with you to determine the care needed to provide you the comfort and relief.
